This leading forestry and industrial company is dedicated to the production and export of Eucalyptus pulp to global markets. With a strong commitment to sustainability, it leverages cutting-edge technology to optimize agricultural processes and improve productivity.

Founded in 2009 in Uruguay.
Operates across 16 departments in Uruguay, including industrial facilities and a technological center.
Employs over 600 people directly, supporting a production chain that sustains more than 6,500 jobs nationwide.
Produces and exports Eucalyptus pulp using state-of-the-art technology at its industrial complex.

Understanding Challenges

The organization aimed to integrate AI across various business areas to enhance efficiency and innovation. After initial integrations with Globant Enterprise AI in 2023, they sought a structured approach to identify, refine, and implement high-value AI use cases.

With an IT team of 35 professionals, including 10 product owners, they required expert guidance to bridge knowledge gaps, align AI initiatives with business goals, and accelerate adoption across teams.

We designed a comprehensive AI transformation initiative, beginning with an interactive, full-day workshop. This hands-on training allowed teams to explore AI’s potential in their daily operations and strategize its practical implementation.

The workshop featured a mix of theory and practical exercises, guiding participants through AI fundamentals, industry applications, and the company’s potential use cases.
