Understanding Challenges

Givebacks aimed to establish and professionalize their Quality Assurance (QA) function to enhance their software development lifecycle. They sought to implement structured testing processes, increase code quality, and build a sustainable QA strategy that aligned with their mission of driving social impact.

Solutions and Activities

We assembled a dedicated QA team, bringing together experienced functional testers and a technical leader, to design and execute a roadmap for transformation. This effort began with a focused 30-day assessment and strategy planning phase, which laid the foundation for a structured 90-day action plan.

Through this comprehensive approach, we crafted a detailed functional testing roadmap to identify key gaps and untapped opportunities, with actionable recommendations for test case management and automation. With a solid foundation in place, the next steps include building out automated test coverage in mabl, the leading low-code automation platform.

Building on this, we designed and implemented robust QA processes, accompanied by thorough documentation to boost consistency and long-term applicability. To maintain transparency and foster collaboration, we created detailed QA reports, providing a clear overview of progress and actionable outcomes.

Our team worked proactively with Givebacks' internal teams, refining and integrating best practices into their development workflows. Not only did this collaboration address immediate challenges but also made significant strides towards sustainable improvements in their software development lifecycle, with ongoing efforts to further enhance the process.

This is a work in progress, and we remain committed to supporting Givebacks as they continue to strengthen and optimize their processes.
