Understanding Challenges

Threads needed a reliable testing partner to provide automated and manual testing support. Suman Venkataswamy, Threads' co-founder, wanted an ally with shared values and a similar time zone for seamless, real-time communication.

For over four years, our LATAM-based testers diligently worked with Threads every day to deliver their development timeline goals:

Firstly, we started with a dedicated tester who focused on the functional testing of their web and native iOS and Android apps.
Next, we added a part-time tester to conduct accessibility and usability testing.
Eventually, our team grew to include four testers and a leader from Abstracta. We built JavaScript automation frameworks for wider system test coverage.
On this path, our testers visited Threads' San Francisco office multiple times to foster collaboration and transfer knowledge.
